Introductory comment

“What the dominate culture adopts as its position regarding the existence of God will, for better or worse, set the tone for a whole society. If a benevolent culture is allowed to prevail, its uplifting benefits will guide and protect the everyday life of all its adherents”. Today’s Australian society, that is predominately based on Judeo- Christian worldview, is basically under attack from two main ideologies - Militant secularism  and Radical Islam.

Militant secular societies in their extreme are godless. Personal qualities, emotions and desires are surpressed for the benefit of the nation state, productivity is paramount and quality of life measured by material prosperity.

Radical Islam is built on the premise that everything you are and everything you own is to be used for the spread of Islam and in the name of Allah.

Key areas of our Christian heritage is under attack:

  • Christian Prayers in Parliament, and Christian symbols in public care organisations.
  • Christian Carols by Candlelight, that praise Jesus Christ the Son of God.
  • Christian Holy Holidays - Easter and Christmas
  • Christian education in Government schools
  • “Almighty God” in our Australian Constitution
  • The Holy Bible in our Courts, hospitals, hotels and motels.
  • The Holy Bible swearing in of political leaders
  • Christian Crown, Christian Queen Elizabeth, Queen of Australia.

Our national basic moral code, public service, governance and legal system is derived from the Ten Commandments and Jesus’ teaching of love, sanctity of life, forgiveness, and call to serve humanity.

David and his wife Josie, Messianic Jews from New Zealand, moved with their two sons to live and minister in Israel in 1992. From their home in Mt Carmel they minister to those in Israel, the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) and other countries.
Statement of Purpose of Out of Zion Ministries:
• To fulfil God's call on Israel as His 'Chosen Nation' to be a light to the Nations;
• To gather together, encourage, and facilitate the sending out of teams of Israelis to the Nations, specifically those with large Jewish communities;
• To take the Word of the Lord to those who do not yet know JESUS as their Messiah - to the Jew first and also to the Gentiles;
• To encourage the Church to fulfil God's call to the Gentiles to assist in the physical and spiritual ingathering of the Jewish people.
